SYNOPSIS

Emilie Camacho and Lucien Reynes, two breathtaking performers, bring dance and circus together in this duet. After touring the world's stages and now based in the Basque Country, the duo, accompanied by the brilliant New York trumpeter Omar Little, draws inspiration from the founding myth to choreograph the reunion of Ulysses and Penelope.

Retour à Itak comes to life as a deep desire to move towards a utopia that has become reality: the return. Neither Ulysses nor Penelope are the heroes of this creation for the festival, but rather their reunion. This moment so long awaited by both of them. This moment that will see bodies transformed by battles and storms, distance, time, human desire, and the disputes of the gods, unite once again and let dancing bodies speak of love. The Diane room at the Casino Municipal will be the setting for this moment suspended in time, lulled by the ocean and the light.
