Moka
MOKA is a production office dedicated to the administration, development and promotion of the choreographic works alongside artists and structures from Guadeloupe and International.
MOKA comes from the Creole expression “Mouka fouté fé”, which expresses the idea of investing oneself fully.
As an echo the exciting and passionate artists that Moka collaborate with.
MOKA is now rooted in the Occitanie region, with a presence at the Tiers-Lieu La Soulane in Jézeau (Hautes-Pyrénées) and at Herbes Folles in Toulouse. This expansion aims to foster collaborations between different territories.
MOKA is a member of Réseau Danse Occitanie, a regional network supporting contemporary dance in southern France.
Moka is a recipient of the Cromot Grant 2025–2026.

MANON PEUGNET
Production management and founder Manon Peugnet is a cultural manager committed to the development and structuring of the performing arts sector, working alongside choreographers from Guadeloupe.
In 2023, she founded MOKA Production, a production office dedicated to supporting choreographic and multidisciplinary projects. Her approach is rooted in a deep respect for local artistic ecosystems while fostering national and international outreach and collaboration.
International development MELISSA RODRIGUEZ
Melissa Rodriguez is a cultural producer interested in the international development and circulation of contemporary choreographic projects.
She works within transnational collaborations across Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America. Shaped by her experience of migration, her practice is attentive to questions of representation, equity and intercultural dialogue.
