JUMPING - Caribbean Choreographic Competition & Development

Dispositif Récif - Karukera Ballet artistic support center, is a major player in the promotion of choreographic talent, both locally and internationally. Its role is to support local, national and international companies and dancers, offering them opportunities for development and professionalization. With this in mind, Récif has been launching the very first edition of the “Jumping #1” Caribbean springboard, an initiative dedicated to supporting emerging companies and highlighting new choreographic writing.

NATIONAL, INTER-CARIBBEAN AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION: AN OUTREACH DYNAMIC FOR CHOREOGRAPHIC CREATION

As a center for artistic support, Le Dispositif Récif works to develop and support companies and dancers by promoting a resolutely open approach to national, inter-Caribbean and international cooperation. The fundamental aim of this cooperation is to strengthen choreographic practices while creating new cultural synergies, enabling artists to confront other aesthetic realities and nurture their creativity through transnational artistic exchanges.
