AKROĀMA
SYNOPSIS
AKROĀMA is a hybrid project whose final form will be a dance performance accompanied by live music, lasting approximately 50 minutes. Brian’s approach is rooted in the valorization of otherness and in questioning the construction of identity. For this creation, he invites four dancers, aiming to bring out their virtuosity while celebrating their individual differences: Catarina Barbosa (LU), Georges Maikel (LU), Noa Nies (LU), and Giuseppe Sanniu (IT).
For the musical composition, he will once again collaborate with Ivan Pavlov – COH (RU-SE), a composer, musician, and electro-acoustic physicist, with whom he has already created three works (INFRA, ULTRA, HURRICANES). Costume design will be entrusted to Rachel Quarmby, an outstanding designer with whom he is currently collaborating on WE NEED TO FIND EACH OTHER.
